Innovation wins the day in Kantar Measure of Inspiration Awards 2014
This year, for the first time, the overall winner of The Kantar came from the innovation category. And the award was given to TNS Australia for its radical office re-engineering project, Work Smart, a combination of innovative office design (pictured) and new working methodology that has completely transformed the way the company works while driving down costs and driving up employee satisfaction.
No mean feat!
Here’s what the judges said: “What made TNS Australia's Work Smart entry so outstanding was the amount of care and thought that had gone into a design to encourage employee empowerment and to foster active collaboration across all the Kantar companies sharing the space. That care extended into putting in place metrics to track not just financial upsides (very significant) but also employee satisfaction, culture, productivity and pride. Win rates, recruitment and retention measures have all increased and the office has become a showcase for clients (who love to visit) and the rest of WPP. An emphatic case for a braver approach to office design engendering significant business success.”
