(Beijing, Shanghai & London, Oct 15th 2019) Kantar, the world’s leading data, insights and consulting company today announces the appointment of Doreen Wang as Country Leader for Kantar in China. In her new role, Ms Wang will focus on working with Kantar’s local management and teams to strengthen local innovation and partnerships, recruit and grow more local talent and deliver even greater impact for our Chinese clients.
Most recently, Doreen built Kantar’s BrandZ brand valuation practice in to the World’s leading brand measurement platform, expanding it into 17 countries over the past five years. With a rich understanding of the strategies and success factors that build world-leading brands, Doreen’s extensive experience will help Chinese brands grow domestically and internationally, as well as support international brands seeking growth in China. Ms. Wang will continue in the role of Global Head of BrandZ alongside her new responsibilities.

Doreen will return to Beijing in January to take up her new appointment, a city in which she grew up and progressed to being Office Head for Millward Brown before moving to the USA in 2014.
