Kirk will lead Kantar's Canadian Media Effectiveness practice, delivering Canadian media insights and unified cross-media measurement solutions. Kirk’s appointment comes at a pivotal time for the Canadian media industry, which faces rapid transformation driven by:

Kirk will be focused on accelerating adoption of Kantar’s advanced AI marketing analytics and brand lift measurement solutions including LIFT, LIFT+, LIFT ROI, Context Lab, and Link AI to help clients plan smarter, optimize faster, and achieve stronger ROI through unified cross-media measurement. He and the Canadian Media team will be strengthening partnerships across Canada’s media ecosystem and optimizing measurement workflows with market-specific, tailored, agile solutions for agencies, publishers, and advertisers.

Prior to joining Kantar, Kirk built a distinguished career as a senior media and growth leader within Canada’s media and advertising ecosystem, most notably at Rogers Sports & Media, where he spent 14 years driving business transformation and revenue growth. In 2021, Kirk and his team were recognized as the Media Partner of the Year at the Media Innovation Awards (MIAs).

In senior leadership roles, Kirk helped launch and scale new media businesses, led national sales and partnership teams, and managed large P&Ls while delivering sustained double‑digit growth and strengthening Rogers’ market share. His work spans traditional and emerging channels including broadcast, digital, programmatic, streaming, audio, CTV, and out‑of‑home, positioning him at the forefront of Canada’s evolving media landscape. Kirk also serves as the Chair for IAB Canada Publisher Council.
