Kantar, the world’s leading marketing data and analytics company, announces the appointment of James Lavell to the newly created role of Chief Commercial Officer for the Profiles Division. James brings with him a wealth of commercial experience, marked by his dynamic leadership and transformative approach to growth. Kantar’s Profiles Division is the company’s Centre of Expertise for Panel management as well as home of the portfolio of custom research services.
James joins Kantar on 22 April from Altrata, a part of Euromoney Institutional Investor PLC, where he was global CEO. Previously, James was CEO of Euromoney's IMN and Derivatives businesses and COO at Institutional Investor in New York. He has also served as an in-house consultant for British Telecom, Equifax, and AC Nielsen.

Using proprietary premium panels and next-gen sampling and anti-fraud technology, Kantar’s Profiles division delivers the highest quality data for custom survey solutions and quick decision making, so clients can move with confidence and speed.
Based in Kantar’s London office, James plays a pivotal role in growing Kantar’s roster of enterprise clients utilising Kantar’s custom research expertise and expanding its market presence across new sectors. He will also aid with fostering a more globally consistent approach to client development and account management and accelerating the 'hunter' sales model to drive growth globally.
