Kantar appoints Andy Doyle to Chief People Officer position

Kantar, the world’s leading data-driven analytics and brand consulting company, today announces the appointment of Andy Doyle to the position of Chief People Officer. As a member of the executive leadership team, Mr Doyle will ensure Kantar’s culture supports the growth ambitions of the organisation.

Most recently, Andy was Chief People and Culture Officer for National Grid Plc, the UK and US-based electricity systems operator. In his role there he focused on setting and delivering the global human resources agenda in line with the commercial strategy of the Group. Prior to National Grid he was CHRO and a member of the executive leadership team that successfully floated Worldpay and managed its subsequent merger with Vantiv Inc. Andy previously also led the HR function at broadcaster ITV plc and utility services and construction company Morrison plc.

Andy is a transformation specialist committed to improving business performance by unleashing the enormous potential of people to achieve amazing results. He thrives on creating high performance cultures, using technology, powerful engagement tools and strong operational processes to drive business improvement.

Andy holds a BSc in Economics from Loughborough University in England. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development and a Chartered Director.

Recognising Scott Carter’s contribution to Kantar, Adam Crozier, Kantar’s Chairman, added: “I want to thank Scott for the impact he has had on Kantar over multiple years. In particular, over the past three years, Scott played an invaluable role in steering the company through some of the most intensive periods in its history. He supported the sale of Kantar to Bain Capital and played a pivotal role in the creation of our standalone organisation and our COVID-19 response. He designed and launched several significant reward and operating model changes and had a constant focus on equality and diversity. The Board are hugely appreciative of all that Scott and his team have achieved. He leaves with our thanks and best wishes.”

Mr Doyle’s appointment is effective 4 January 2022. Mr Carter will support the transition until the end of April 2022.
