I am on the first year of the graduate scheme for Kantar’s Profiles division, so my role is very varied. At the moment, I am working on a number of data-related projects as we are coming to the end of our ‘Data’ rotation. For these projects, I tend to have a lot of a meetings to catch up with the different teams I am working with, which can either be internal or external. Between meetings, I am work with my fellow grads (either in pairs or all together) on deliverables for the projects.
As part of the Data rotation, I have been working with one of our major clients, on producing different data visualisations out of the data they collected when working with Kantar Profiles. Another graduate and I worked together with data analysts to produce different charts and give an insight into the client's data.
I chose to apply to Kantar because I really liked the idea of doing rotations across different departments. I knew I wanted to work at Kantar after attending the assessment day, as I thought the environment really suited me and all the people were so welcoming. I felt really comfortable during the whole assessment process and I was very excited when I was offered the job.
I definitely think the attitude of the people in the office has made a big difference throughout the grad scheme. We felt like everyone was very excited to have us here and were really keen to get us involved in as much as possible. This has been a great boost at the start of my career and definitely given me the opportunity to get involved in projects that aren’t always directly related to the scheme but are still a great experience.
