Caroline Frankum honoured for commitment to women in business

09 September 2021

Caroline Frankum, CEO of Kantar’s Profiles Division, has been celebrated for championing women in business and included in the HERoes 100 Women Executives list 2021. It is Caroline’s fourth consecutive year of recognition by the award, which is run by global diversity consultancy INvolve and supported by Yahoo Finance. HERoes highlights executives from across the world who empower women in the workplace and act as role models for future leaders.

Caroline’s inclusion reflects her efforts to prioritise diversity and team wellbeing throughout the business. She has been credited with dismantling barriers to progression and creating opportunities for women to be successful and express themselves at work, using mentorship and sponsorship initiatives to foster a people-first team ethos.

The award comes just a few months after Caroline was also included in CEO Today’s Global CEO of the Year 2021 and Business Women of the Year 2021 lists. The accolades underline her success guiding the business through a period of transformation over the past two years, navigating new ownership, significant new service launches, stricter rules on data compliance, and most significantly the COVID-19 pandemic.

Underpinning all these achievements is Caroline’s commitment to inclusion and diversity. This year she has mentored 13 individuals of different ages, ethnicities and sexualities. She also remains a committed global sponsor of Kantar’s Pride ERG group which empowers LGBTQ+ employees, and she continues to participate in Kantar’s mentorship program with Special Olympic Athletes.

Speaking about her inclusion in HERoes 100 Women Executives 2021, Caroline says: “I believe that more diverse and inclusive businesses are better businesses – it helps us to achieve commercial success, delivering smarter thinking and more creative results for our clients, as well as helping our talented people to feel supported and reach their potential. After a challenging 18 months I’m proud of the way our team has re-committed to these principles. Ultimately, they make us stronger and give us a competitive edge.”

Founder & CEO of INvolve, Suki Sandhu OBE, says, “I’m thrilled to be celebrating this incredible group of Women and Advocate Role Models who are championing inclusion and inspiring the next generation of talent. It’s vital that women across the globe can succeed and these role models are essential in dismantling barriers to progression and creating opportunities for women to be successful while also being able to be their authentic selves in the workplace.”
