For the third consecutive occasion, reflecting our advanced media expertise, Kantar has been awarded the contract for ARMA (Romanian Association for Audience Measurement) to continue to deliver Television Audience Measurement for the 2020 – 2023 period.
The Television Audience Measurement system provided by Kantar will include monitoring logs for TV programmes, commercial and promos for over 60 channels, enabling ARMA to continue to provide data that represents the sole such currency for the media industry in Romania. The new contract also marks 25 years since the introduction of the first TV monitoring system and 18 years since the first launch of a full TV audience measurement service based on People Meter technology.
Commenting on the announcement, Liliana Mihailescu, Managing Director, Romania, Media Division, Kantar stated, "We are pleased to extend our collaboration with ARMA as the unique provider of the National Service for Television Audience Measurement, maintaining our commitment to deliver a first class service that is aligned with international standards and in full compliance with local specifications.
