What is the Origin Project?
Project Origin is a cross media audience measurement project. To put that into plain English, it's a way of measuring exactly how many and who interacts with adverts that companies run. The reason this is so exciting, is because it's across platforms that have never been linked to together and measured before - we're talking a wide range of digital platforms from TikTok to the BBC to Youtube. Working alongside organisations such as Google and Facebook, we’ve pulled together all our latest thinking and our most up-to-date meters to create what we believe is the future of audience measurement.
Why do you need Field Technicians?
Without our Field Tech's we wouldn't be able to do any of this. To make the project work, we need to install monitoring equipment into the houses of participating panellists. You'll be the face of the Origin Project to them, and representing Kantar to the outside world. So not only is it really important you can get everything hooked up quickly and efficiently, you'll need to have great customer service skills too.
It's worth being clear this is a field role, so you won't be based in an office. You'll travelling regionally, in a company car, meeting lots of new people every day. And because of this, it's a role that offers real flexibility.
What will I be doing?
- Installing and maintaining metering equipment and software (don't worry, we'll teach you how to do it!).
- Train and support our panellists in the correct use and care of their equipment
- Ensure our audience panellist experience some great customer service.
- Work with your wider team to maintain accurate stock levels and ensure any equipment is safely stored.
