Kantar Public, the public policy evidence and advisory division of Kantar, announces the appointment of two new members to its senior leadership team: Caroline Connolly joins from global consulting business Cardno to take up the role of CEO, Development Practice, based in the Washington D.C. office; and Gaurav Sabharwal joins from EY to become CEO for Kantar Public India and South Asia. The appointments signal the commitment to clients in delivering consulting alongside our existing evidence, analytics and data capabilities.
Caroline brings with her more than two decades of senior advisory experience, having served most recently as Vice President, Principal Strategy Development and Communications for Cardno Emerging Markets, a global infrastructure, environmental and social development company. Prior to this role, she was with Deloitte Consulting, LLP as Programme Development Specialist. Caroline has also held a diplomatic role in the US Foreign Service, where she focused on international development and health with USAID. Caroline will lead the growing Development Practice from Washington D.C., partnering with Kantar Public’s Africa and Middle East teams to deliver evidence, evaluation and consultancy.
Consulting and Technology industry veteran Gaurav joins as CEO for Kantar Public India and South Asia. He joins from EY where he was Executive Director in the Advisory Services team for Government and Public Sector since 2016. Before this he held roles with Tata Consultancy Services, specialising in advising on technology transformation with central government in India as well as at the ministry level. Gaurav, who has also worked for government across Europe and the Middle East on more than 50 international assignments, will be based in New Delhi for his role.
