Understanding business attitudes to government support

The Cabinet Office has commissioned Kantar’s Public Division to conduct essential research about the provision of Government support to UK businesses and self-employed during the coronavirus crisis. This research will take place from Thursday 16 April to Monday 6 July 2020.

The survey is designed to understand the views of self-employed, business owners and senior managers to understand how their business has been affected by coronavirus and what business decisions may be taken to mitigate this impact.

Information collected throughout this research will provide the Cabinet Office with up to date information on businesses’ awareness of support measures and knowledge of how access to the range of support schemes available to UK businesses.


In line with the Market Research Society Code of Conduct, Kantar will be treating all survey responses in the strictest confidence, and no personally identifiable information will be shared with the Cabinet Office.
